I love bulk food stores! There is a new-ish bulk food store in my hometown that I recently visited for the first time. There were tons of great deals, but I limited myself to just a few things. I picked up some powdered milk, natural peanut butter, carob chips, lentils, and chocolate covered pretzels (for the ride home ;) ). If I were more organized, I would preplan out a month's worth of menus and do more shopping in bulk. Unfortunately I will have to make do with the little organization that I currently manage.Monday, August 04, 2008

Looks like you did good! Is that the one out on the highway near Pumpkin Center? I had to buy a huge container of natural (no added salt/sugar) peanut butter at the Amish store because they were out of the smaller ones. I gave some to Dad,and I think the rest goes in the refrigerator. If you ever want to do a split/share thing, let me know, since I think it is more cost economical to buy the larger tub. (Total 10.95) Auntie T.
