All right, I've posted before about my odd memory. Last Thanksgiving, I made this cauliflower dish that included cheese, bacon, and garlic. It was good, but very, very garlicky. I had shared the recipe with someone who worked at my school and she said it was fantastic, so I didn't know what went wrong. About a week ago (I don't know why I figured it out then), it occured to me that I was supposed to use two cloves of garlic. Instead, I used almost two full BULBS of garlic. Yikes.
No wonder it was garlicky.
